ONE BRIDGE. THREE WORLDS.
So we built the way through.
HyperBridge is our independent x86-64 translator. Integration with ARM64 Wine is in progress.
01 / THE EXPERIENCE
MacRunner is being built around a simple idea: your games and apps belong together, with a clear path from adding something new to opening it again.
Choose a Windows game or program and add it to MacRunner.
Find your games and apps in one native macOS library.
Open a title from your library. Compatibility is being tested and expanded as development continues.
02 / THE PREVIEW
These game results come from earlier runtime configurations. Game validation on HyperBridge is still ahead.
Read the release statusA macOS library and launch workflow are in development. End-to-end game launches are still being validated.
Gameplay and normal exit confirmed by the maintainer in the installed app. Full cinematic playback, long sessions, save/reload, and measured performance still need validation.
Tested configurationThe current bundled graphics path targets 64-bit titles through DXMT and Metal. Support varies by game.
DirectX 12 launch and gameplay confirmed by the maintainer. Uses MacRunner's separate DX12-to-Metal development path, outside the current DirectX 10/11 app bundle. Rendering and performance optimization continue.
Tested configurationFree development previews are published on GitHub for Apple Silicon Macs. Since 1.0.7 the app is signed and notarized by Apple and opens normally. Automatic updates are not available yet.

GOOD TO KNOW
Yes. MacRunner is free to use, with no subscription. Games are not included. The public download is still being prepared. Support is voluntary and never unlocks features: see how you can help.
MacRunner is developing its own HyperBridge translator alongside open-source projects including Wine and DXMT. The public MacRunner repository currently shares documentation and development progress; the application's own source code has not been published yet.
The recorded core game path runs without Rosetta. HyperBridge integration with ARM64 Wine is in progress and requires separate game validation. This does not yet cover every bundled helper: the optional Epic Games helper is currently Intel-only and still needs an Apple Silicon replacement or separate compatibility testing.
Our goal is smooth, high-performance gaming on Apple Silicon. FPS and frame-time benchmarks are not yet available. Performance will vary with the game, your Mac, and graphics settings.
Not yet. Version 1.0.2 is a local development preview. The public GitHub project shares release status and progress; it does not currently provide an installer. You can watch the project there for updates.
MacRunner is being developed for Apple Silicon Macs. The current packaged preview requires macOS 27.0 or later and has been tested on an M1 Pro. Installation on other Macs with standard security settings is still being validated. Final requirements will accompany a public release.
Compatibility varies. The current experimental bundle focuses on 64-bit DirectX 10 and 11 titles. A game appearing in the roadmap or having a launch profile does not mean that it is fully supported.
Full 32-bit support is still in development. Apple Developer account approval is also pending. These are separate milestones: account approval alone does not add 32-bit compatibility.
